Haha frugal through and through, that one is. But if you actually eat bread with any regularity, the thing will pay for itself in a few months, especially if you buy bread from Whole Foods or Wild Oats or one of the other hippie-granola rapists that charge you $11 for half a Kiwi.

I grew up with one of those machines, and let me tell you once you eat some of that warm bread straight form the oven, you'll never go back. Go with a Panasonic model.

And I have officially retired from AIM forever, finally cutting off AOL's final vestigal purple tentacle from my life. Rest in utter agony, AOL. I'm all about the Gchat now honey, get with the times!

Thats the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. You can buy a top of the line breadmaker for $130-180, and the bread comes out perfect, exactly as good as homemade. Just add ingredients and wait a few hours, or do it over night.

Hand kneeding bread dough is for old italian grandmas, not for the young ipod using go-getters that make up our shitty generation.

Wow the instructions on that site are complicated. I've been making No Knead Bread once a week for a couple of weeks and it's way easy. The only ingredients you need is flour, water, salt, and yeast. It takes planning a day ahead since you have to let it sit for 12 hours, but after that it's delicious.
