Just discovered this cool website called ifttt. It uses different internet feeds to automate useful tasks for you. For example, you can have any facebook photos that you are tagged in automatically downloaded, get an email or text message if it’s going to rain that day, or even send a text message that will call your phone so you can have an excuse to ‘escape’ a bad date! hehe.

You can check out some of the top rated recipes here. You will need to create an account to start adding tasks though.

Wow, I finally remembered to write up a Friday Links post!! Enjoy.

Girl gets bumped on her bike by a car – turns out she’s a cop and the guy who bumped her is a really dumb drug dealer. good read!
Okie noodling (fishing with your hands) – I had NO idea this was a pasttime in OK! random note: the blogger is the wife of my hs class president and she’s super famous in the blogging world! weird!
Transparent kayak – wow, this is so awesome. all kayaks should be transparent!!
Clockbusters (guess the movie based on 3 pictures) – pretty fun if you’re a movie buff
Best Oprah emails to Opera the browser – a little late but worth reading still!

Best Wedding Proposal Ever

I know I’ve posted cool wedding proposals before but I promise…this one tops them all. SO AMAZING.

A little background: The video is shot by Michael Justin Films for a guy named John proposing to his gf. It tells the story of his unlucky life and how he became the luckiest man after meeting his fiance. It starts with reenactments from his childhood to hired actors playing them in old age and is all stitched together with real footage of the two of them. It’s sooooooooooooooooo good. I admit it, I teared up.

Wow…I finally remembered that it’s Friday!

If you’re a fan of buying things from Craigslist, you will love this site: Todd’s Alerts

I remember when I was looking for things for my wedding or even furniture for my house, I would constantly visit Craigslist and hit refresh hoping to score an awesome deal. Many times if I wasn’t fast enough, the deal would be long gone.

This will be great for when boyrobot and I are looking for discounted concert tickets. We always use Craigslist to buy our tickets cuz it’s way cheaper!
