1. Sabatino Tartufi Truffle Oils – I got a set of black and white truffle oils through a Groupon deal. I’ve been putting this stuff on everything and it’s SO good. Just putting it on my eggs brings it to another level. I’ve also been drizzling it on a lot of my pastas. I need to buy some popcorn so I can have truffled popcorn next!

2. Hands-Free Breastpump Bra – Any breastfeeding mamas out there? Well if you pump…you NEED this. I used to hate pumping so much because I would just sit there for 15 minutes bored out of my mind as I pumped. This allows me to play on my iphone while I pump and totally makes the time fly by!

3. Tebo Tebo Tea Lounge – This is for all you socal people…this is our new go-to boba place in the OC. I wouldn’t say it’s the best boba or anything but they have a really impressive menu with one of the largest and unique selections I’ve seen. They even have a whole section of drinks using coconut water…which is so popular right now. If you get your boba to go they also serve it in a milk bottle hehe. They have a pretty big menu of food items for a boba place as well. We tried a few of the “street food” items and they were pretty tasty.

4. True Orange – I’ve been lazy about using my sodastream until I read about these crystallized orange packets. They also come in lemon, grapefruit, and lime. They contain no artifical sugars and is basically just straight up fruit crystals. I empty 2 packets into a bottle of sodastream water (carbonated water) and it tastes exactly like Trader Joe’s flavored sparkling water but a whole lot cheaper! (You can get a 100 pack for ~$12) They are zero calories and because of this I am drinking a lot more water. Yay! You can also cook with these which is great because I always buy lemons and they go bad because I don’t use all of them in time. I’ll try cooking with the lemon one and report back to you!

5. Old Navy Bermuda Shorts – Since I still haven’t lost all of my pregnancy weight, I had to go out and buy some new shorts. I think these were even cheaper in the store but they are less than $10 and super comfy! I practically wear these every day!

6. Slice app – This is my latest favorite iPhone app. I swear since I’ve been home on maternity leave all I do is online shop, especially for baby stuff. I have packages coming every week! (all mostly hot deals though I promise :)) Anyways, this app automatically scans your email and keeps track of what you ordered, when they are expected to arrive, and notifies you when they are out for delivery. I LOVE this app! You no longer have to go to the fedex or ups website to enter in a tracking number…this app does it all automatically for you. It’s great!

Anyways, I wanted to do an update on my favorite iPhone apps since people are always asking me about them (I do have an insane amount of apps on my iphone hehe)

Shopping:
Michaels, Jo-Ann – for all of you crafters this is a must have! they both provide quick and easy access to those 40-50% off coupons so I *always* have one with me! I’ve started sewing so this has been a great money saver for me. I hate not having to look for the coupons at the last minute and waste paper and ink printing them out. You just show your phone and they scan it straight from there. IT’S AWESOME.
LivingSocial – I think out of all of the group buying websites, I like LivingSocial the best. It makes buying so easy! Maybe too easy :P

Utilities:
Wunderlist – I’m kind of obsessed with lists and this is a really sweet “to-do” app. It also syncs up with your PC and just has the sleekest interface of any list app I’ve tried! I’m in love!
StillTasty – This is a website I blogged about awhile ago…and now they have an app! It’s one of the few that I’ve paid for and it’s worth every penny. Helps me keep track of what’s in my fridge!
GasBuddy – With gas prices always on the rise, this is a handy app to see which gas station around you has the cheapest price! I won’t go out of my way to save a few cents on a gallon but if one is cheaper in the same vicinity…why not?
Flashlight – I’m sure everybody already has this app but I didn’t dl it until a few months ago. It turns on your flash as a flashlight and is so much better than those white screen ones
INRIX traffic – I drive a 40 minute commute every day. And when I get stuck in traffic, I’m always wondering WHY. This little app tells you what kind of accidents or big events might be going on on your route. Probably only LA people would find this useful :)

Photography:
Halftone – This app creates little comic strips out of your photos. It’s really fun!

Entertainment:
Remote – Use this to control your appleTV. it’s way better than the appleTV remote because it actually has a keyboard. btw, we love our appleTV!

Games:
Scramble CE – I became obsessed with this scramble game on the Windows 7 phone while I was visiting my sister. It’s sort of like Boggle but you play with real live people. Although this game is not as good as the Windows 7 version, it’s pretty darn close!

My sister and her husband told me about this documentary called Vote For Me. If you love documentaries I highly recommend this. I would rank it #2 in my favorite documentaries of all time. (#1 is Spellbound). I LOVED this movie….so funny!

It’s about a 3rd grade class in China where they are learning about democracy. They let the class vote on who gets to be the next class monitor. It’s funny to see these little kids end up modeling real life politicians in some ways. And so funny to see how serious things get. Here is the trailer but I don’t think the trailer was done very well. If i watched the trailer only, i probably wouldn’t have been enticed to watch it…but I swear it’s good! :)

BTW, it’s in chinese so you’ll have to read subtitles. :P

So far I’m not really sure how I like it. I do know I’m sick of facebook though and I love most google products. google+ seems more like a twitter+facebook mashup. But since my life pretty much revolves around google I expect sharing things with friends to be much easier through this interface. For once, I would actually love having an android….the iPhone does not have any google apps…they are just links to the mobile versions of all of the google sites which aren’t that great. BOO!

My house isn’t that big…and for awhile it was like a zoo! But fun….and I definitely miss them. Now they have all left and it’s just me and boyrobot. And we have been slowly cleaning the house ever since ha ha. Now that our weekends have returned to normal, I finally had some time to have a friend come over that I hadn’t seen in quite awhile! It was so great to catch up and during our chats, I discovered another person that was into Youtube videos. Well not as much as me but I introduced her to a few more artists she wasn’t aware of. :)

I thought it was high time that I talk about my little youtube obsession. Well it is one I share with boyrobot, in fact I believe he got me into it. We can spend hours on youtube looking up cover songs and it has led us to many really cool artists! Here are some of our faves:

Cathy Nguyen – She has done a collaboration with pretty much everyone on this list
Victor Kim – you might recognize him from America’s Best Dance Crew in Quest Crew. He is also my youtube internet crush! ha ha.
elshaynez – this kid is one of my first youtube obsessions. His covers of Never Shout Never are great.

Here are some semi-pro/pro singers that definitely have some chops!
andrew garcia – all of you American Idol fans might recognize him…well he started out on youtube and is still going at it! His raspy voice is so good
kina grannis – one of the most famous youtube stars. we actually paid to see her in concert and IT WAS SO GOOD! she is so adorable in person too!!
goot – i love his covers and his name. his videos are really nice looking too.
legaci – this group’s cover of jb’s baby got so big that justin bieber himself invited them to go on tour with him! they are like an asian boyz 2 men….really talented!

From these videos and artists, it has led us to other types of videos (apparently all these youtube stars are friends and appear in each other’s videos) so I’ve discovered some humor videos:

Cobra Products 400 Zip-It Drain Cleaning Tool

It was only a couple of dollars….cheaper than getting a snake which I wasn’t even sure was going to work so I thought it was worth a shot. Turns out it worked and now our drain is super fast flowing (yay!). So of course, when I come across a product I really like…I have to share it with you guys :) For all of you that suffer from slow drains caused by your shedding hair…this is great! Check out some of these photos (or maybe not if you have a weak stomach haha) from their website from other customer testimonials.

FYI, this product is touted as a one-time use product and is not super long so if your clog is deep or u run into this problem a lot, it’s probably worth it to invest in a snake drain.
