Bring your lunch!!!
It’s an obvious answer but the cleverdude’s wife wrote out sample lunch menus including cost and determined that she saves $988 a year if she brings her lunch.
If only I could eat PB&J sandwiches everyday, I’d be rich!!

Yeah, I would be too! But alas, the food court calls.

ooh… i love peanut butter so it might not be a bad thing for me to try hehe… if only i could not be so lazy to pack a lunch (frozen dinners don’t count when it comes to “packing a lunch” hehe)

Ah, there are so many other options than just those listed on my post!! What about taking leftovers for lunch? And those TV dinners are OK too (choose the lower sodium varieties like Healthy Choice, Lean Cuisine, and Smart Ones)–and to be frugal, make sure you BUY THEM ON SALE!
Thanks for the positive reference!!!

Yea, and if folks didn’t drink Starbucks or smoked cigarettes, they’d save even more… I already bring my lunch, don’t drink coffee much, and definitely do not smoke. :P I need MORE $-saving tips. I keep buying electronic items.

if you eat PB sandwiches make sure it doesn’t have hydrogenated oils in it! Trader Joe’s doesnt and their PB is cheap!
