As you all know, LOST IS MY FAVORITE SHOW EVERRRR.

I’m so sad that it’s ending. I don’t really know what I will do when it’s all over. Perhaps watch the whole show again from the beginning?

Anyways, in honor of my favorite show, I am throwing a Lost Finale party.

I already sent out an evite. They have Lost themed evites!

You know how you can modify the titles of the replies? Mine is labeled like this:

guests -> Flight 815 Oceanic Passengers

maybe -> I’M LOST
declining -> TEAM SMOKE MONSTER

ha ha. boyrobot helped me come up with those.

I’ve instructed guests to bring island/lost themed food. I’ll be making pulled pork boar sliders.

We’ll also be providing snacks and drinks straight from the Dharma Initiative. :)

Just read this informative article about when it’s time to replace things. Oops…some of these I’ve used way past the due date :/

1. Pillows
Replace after: One to two years

2. Mattresses
Replace after: Seven years

3. Contact Lens Equipment
Replace after: Three months

If you buy contact lens solutions in bulk, chuck opened bottles after three months as germs migrate into bottles once the seal is broken. Experts also recommend replacing contact lens cases every three months.

6. Vitamins
Replace after: Two years

If stored in a cool, dry place, most vitamins are good for three years. The clock may have run down, however, while the vitamins sat in a warehouse, so it’s best to replace them after two years. (The Vitamin Shoppe offers an online coupon for free shipping of vitamins.)

14. Herbs and Spices
Replace after: One year

The bottle of fennel that has taken root in your spice cupboard has likely lost its favor. Whole spices, such as coriander and star anise, may last slightly longer, unless they have been exposed to the air. To identify herbs and spices past their prime, open the bag or jar and take a whiff. If there’s no scent, there’s no flavor.

I’m so proud of my brother. Remember when he made that first dance video for my wedding?

Boyrobot and I still watch it from time to time because we love it so much! Well, he’s been working on another wedding video but this one is a wedding highlights. I really wish we could have gotten one of these for our wedding!!!

I just can’t believe this is his first wedding video and he did such a great job! Can you imagine how awesome he’ll be after he’s had some more weddings under his belt?

Can you all do me a favor? If you are reading this post in google reader, can you like this post and share it with your friends?? I would love to get as much exposure to my talented little brother as possible. He does all kinds of videos and does this all on the side. I was reading reviews for the Family Feud Wii Game (it’s a hot deal at $15!) and I came across this warning entitled “Good game but beware!”:

I have a 7 yr old son who LOVES this game and is too happy to play it for hours. The questions are challenging (at times) for an adult, but a clever child could do very well, also. My son gets many answers I don’t even think of!

HOWEVER….one of the questions we ran across last night was, “Name an age children stop believing in the tooth fairy” Oh my gosh, my heart sank :-( He took it in stride and never said a thing after, but now I’m worried there’s a Santa question too!! This is rated “E”, but perhaps the creators don’t yet have children?? I don’t know but it was a HUGE disappointment for me…. The game is great but I just didn’t see that coming.

Can you imagine finding out about the non-existence of the Tooth Fairy/Santa Claus through a video game?!?!?! SAD.
