New Tv Show & New Crush

Ok…I’m slow to jump on the bandwagon but I’ve finally discovered the tv show

THE OFFICE!!!

and I’ve finally discovered

JOHN KRASINSKI

Very nice very nice! His character is soooo cute on the show! So far I’ve only seen two episodes but I’m in love. I can tell this is the type of show that I like and I can’t believe I never saw it before!! It’s even funnier if you work in an “office” environment because everyone can relate to these characters.

Check out the deleted scenes and webisodes they have on their official site!

I love the whole Pam and Jim story…sooooo cute. This is a cool video about the “office romances”!

I’m SO using the birthday line if boyrobot ever forgets my birthday!! haha.

Tips On Stir-Frying

Stir frying is one of my favorite ways to cook food cuz it’s fast and easy!

7 Tips on stir frying

I didn’t know this one. I’m a stir frying newb!

3. Preheat the pan over a medium-high heat for about 1 minute before adding the oil. This process will prevent ingredients from sticking to the pan. Peanut, canola or other vegetable oils work well for stir-frying. Carefully swirl the oil over the bottom and sides of the pan to coat it.

If you want to join my league, sign up, fill out your bracket, and send me your username and I’ll invite you haha. We’re just doing it for fun so it’s free…hopefully one of us will win a prize! My league is called GO BRUINS so you know who I’m putting to go all the way….! :)

Who Doesn’t Love Freebies

Free TV Online

I was perusing Gina Hughes’s Yahoo Tech page when I found this great article about watching tv online. I’ve known about CBS and ABC having their tv shows online for you to watch but I was always in a dilemna when I missed an episode of 24. Turns out you can watch that show online for free too! (and I’m not talking about dling bittorrents which I usually don’t have the patience for).

Here’s her list of free tv shows online:

ABC : Ugly Betty, Lost, Desperate Housewives
CBS: Survivor, Jericho, CSI
NBC: My Name is Earl, The Apprentice, Heroes
Fox on MySpace: Catch the O.C., 24, Prison Break, and Bones.
Sci-Fi Pulse: Battle Star Galactica
USA Network: Monk
Food Network
Discovery Travel

Maybe I should finally start watching Battlestar Galactica!

What To Eat When You Have Food Poisoning

Nope, I don’t have it this time….but if you do here’s what to eat/drink and avoid:

Drink clear beverages such as fruit juices, broth, ginger ale or herbal teas.

Eat small amounts of food every few hours rather than 2-3 large meals per day.

Eat slowly and sip beverages slowly.

Suck on popsicles or frozen fruit juice.

Try the BRAT diet: bananas, white rice, applesauce, and white bread toast.

Eat bland, soft foods (e.g., pasta, mashed potatoes, jello).

Eat dry foods like unbuttered toast, saltine crackers, and dry cereal without milk.

Avoid greasy foods, fried foods, margarine, butter,
and oils.

Avoid spicy foods.

Avoid dairy products.

Avoid caffeine (in coffee, tea, soft drinks, chocolate, some pain medications).

Avoid alcoholic beverages.

Avoid acidic foods and juices (e.g., citrus fruits, tomatoes).

Eat foods high in soluble fiber.

Avoid foods high in insoluble fiber.
