I’m in search of a wedding gift since one of my old roommates is getting married at the end of this month! While browsing around, I found these super beautiful plates!!!!

You can have them personalized with the wedding couple’s initials and year they are getting married. I think that would be such a cute gift to give! But then I looked at the price and it’s $55 dollars a plate. Personally I think these plates are really cool, but I have a feeling she would rather me spend my money on something more useful! Oh well…the search continues….!

I love Walmart.com free samples. The signup is relatively easy and painless and you don’t even have to provide an email address! (it’s optional).

The roomie and I don’t usually use the dishwasher (hey we’re asian! haha), but it’s good to run it once in awhile or if you are having a big party and have a lot of dishes to wash. This free sample of Cascade is great since we don’t use it enough to actually buy any ourselves. hehe.

I’m sure some of you have noticed them. Those mysterious billboards that are popping up all over the place with one liners about some algorithm. When I saw my first one, “The algorithm killed jeeves”, I immediately thought Google

But then I saw one that said, “The algorithm is from Jersey”, which is a reference to Ask.com’s algorithm being developed in Piscataway, NJ. And if you look closely at the billboard you see:

These ads might have generated some buzz but most people don’t even know what it’s about. And to be honest, I used google.com to find out! hehe.

Moms are becoming more and more tech savvy. I know many who even have their own ipods (which btw, if she doesn’t have one yet you can get her one with a free special message engraved!)! For anyone who’s been visiting my website for awhile you’ll have noticed that I change my banner every month. This month’s banner is not really May related though but it has something to do with what will occupy most of this month for me. Next week I’m finally leaving for my trip to Peru where I’ll be hiking Machu Picchu (which is what is pictured in the banner)!!! Can you tell I am excited?
