Monday Brain Dump: Most Miserable Week Of My Life
I just had the most miserable week of my life. Last week I told you how I got a sprained knee and was on crutches. Well, guess what? After using the crutches I somehow ended up spraining my OTHER KNEE. So I had TWO sprained knees. If I was walking funny before, I was really walking funny this past week. Every time I had to get up and do anything (go to the bathroom, leave my room which is upstairs), I would literally cry inside because walking was SO hard.
I took one day off (monday), but I toughed the other ones out and went to work. Luckily, my job does not require much physical activity. And luckily the elevator was only broken on Monday when I still had one good knee. I still don’t know how I managed to hobble around with two sprained knees! Well, now it is practically 2 weeks since I first sprained my knee. My first sprained knee is finally starting to get better. I can bend it some and lift it. The other knee is worse off….I can’t bend it as much and I can barely lift it. The left one is more swollen than the other but I still have water around both knees.
Anyways, I’m feeling better about the whole thing now. I think by the end of this week I’ll be able to walk somewhat normal. I feel like doing flips and running around when that day comes but I think I should probably take it easy :P

i know some people who have gout like my brother-in-law and once in a while his ankles swell up out of no where and he can’t walk. he says it feels like theres crystals on it and it’s really painful. my sister said they take a blood test and check for the concentration of uric acid. it might be worth asking the doc about.

The GOUT?? People still get that Gout? I thought that was one of those diseases from the pirate-age, when diseases were cool enough to have “the” in front of them (The Scurvy, The Gout, and my favorite, The Flux!)
Anyway, I thought you get Gout by like eating like sticks of butter and drinking flagons of wine all day; like the King Henry VIII diet. Something tells me GirlRobot, who weighs less than a large encyclopedia volume, does not qualify.
But yeah, I’ve also never heard of people who have their knees buckle out of nowhere….Maybe too many nights kneeling on the floor playing Settlers and Mafia, that’s my diagnosis.

To whomever it may concern:My previous comment (as well as this one) was left by automated spamming software. I just took a look at some of the sites that it hit and I see that it seems to have left comments in inappropriate places that made the comments themselves seem pretty damn insensitive. I just wanted to clear up the fact that I never actually read any of the posts and I’m really not a horrible person – It was all done automatically by a robot that left a comment on a bunch of blog posts that contained the phrase “my life sucks”. I sincerely apologize if I offended anyone – I’m just a spammer who was trying to get links to his site.If you haven’t already, you should probably delete the original comment, along with this one.
