From this msnbc study they’ve deduced the 12 things that people who live to 100 usually have in common.
1. You’re the life of the party
2. You run for 40 minutes a day
3. You like raspberries in your oatmeal
4. You feel 13 years younger than you are
5. You embrace techie trends
6. You started menopause after age 52
7. You make every calorie count
8. You had a baby later in life
9. Your pulse beats 15 times in 15 seconds
10. You don’t snore
11. You have a relatively flat belly after menopause
12. You get your blood tested for vitamin D levels
I think I’m looking pretty good so far. Except for the whole running thing. ugh…I need to start exercising again!

4. Hahahahaha. Lets put it this way, my 1st grade teacher Ms. Doranco once told me that I had the soul of a 60 year old man trapped in an 8 year old’s body.

7. Count for deliciousness? Then yes. I taste everyone one of the 7,000 calories in that marble cheesecake.

9. ? 15 times in 15 seconds? Its called reducing your fractions people. How about 1 time every 1 second. Colloquially known as…..ONCE A SECOND. Man, I’m worked up just typing this, I’ll never make it to a 100.
10: Only when I’m drunk and sleeping on my back. Unfortunately, that’s the only way I sleep.
11: Again, I’ll get back to you at 52, but if trends continue……..not looking good.
12: ??? This is a marker for long lifers, that they have their blood tested for vitamin D?? That sounds like something some freakish hypochondriac does. I get all the Vitamin D I need from my thrice daily bowls of Frosted Flakes, thank you VERY much. The tiger on the box told me.
