RE: clothes, I have to say as the son of a retailer, I can understand where they are coming from, I mean…you can’t have homeless people with prada bags and expect to charge 5 billion dollars for a crappy plastic purse. They should probably just spray paint them or something, but frankly a cut up jacket is nearly as good as a normal one, no? Tape that shit up, my friend!
Those cakes have some obscure video game references, mang. I mean Adventure? Where you were just a pixel wielding a sword against a dragon that looks like a sea horse for the Atari? That is OLD SCHOOL kiddies.

i read the hm and walmart article earlier today and the sad thing is, a few months ago i learned that stores like urban/anthropologie/freepeople do the same thing to keep their rep up. so frustrating because they are so expensive yet they take scissors to clothes they don’t sell!!! it makes sense but it’s also very disappointing >:(
