The Wii Sports Experiment & Playing The Wii Sitting Down
I was just talking with a friend about how active the Wii is compared to normal games where you just sit there. Some guy decided to play Wii Sports for 30 mins a day for 6 weeks and track his body weight/mass/etc. The results are interesting.
Not only did he lose 9 lbs but he also lost 2% body fat. He did not eat or exercise any more or less than he regularly does. Actually, I don’t think he exercises at all. For people like me, this is great! I could definitely play Wii Sports for 30 minutes a day. I am not sure if it would have the same effect on me though since over the holiday break, I mastered the art of playing the Wii while sitting down. :)

I play the tennis sitting down, haha. I can’t play boxing sitting down though.

playing the wii sitting down… haha! my friends have mastered the art of playing while sitting down, it’s amazing… they throw strikes with a mere twist of the wrist, hardly any movement detected, no joke. i’m still in awe. lol
