Jello Recipes
Wow, ever since I’ve been home I’ve been eating SO MUCH JELLO. It’s true, there’s always room for jello! My sister has 3 kids so she constantly has jello in the fridge. Jello can be a really healthy and tasty treat. It’s made up of mostly water and if you get the sugar free kind it’s a great way to snack! My sister also adds fruit to her jello which is a fun way to get your daily serving of fruit. So far I’ve had lime with peach, black cherry with mandarins, and pineapple with mandarins. I think mandarins are my favorite canned fruit. The pineapple one was sooooo yummy! I think when I go home I’m going to make jello with fresh fruit like strawberries and blueberries. MMMMM.
Here are some other interesting way to dress up your jello:
When I was in college, I remember when we tried making sparkling jello. It’s actually pretty yummy and adds a kick to it!
Instead of using 1C of cold water, just add 1C of sprite or any other carbonated soda you enjoy like orange soda or even Martinelli’s!
Here is a really yummy looking recipe for Raspberry Jello Parfaits:
Here’s a fun recipe for Jello Shots using watermelon jello and coconut rum!
And here’s a recipe for a red, white, and blue jello mold that will be perfect for the upcoming July 4th celebrations. I need an excuse to make this, someone throw a 4th of July party! hehe. Yes there are fresh strawberries and blueberries in this mold!

I despise jello, but I can’t help but noticing your “Red white and Blue” jello looks suspiciously like an Iraqi flag. You throw some green Kiwi stars on that bad boy, and you are gonna have a very interesting fourth of july celebration.

I don’t like jello either but the sparkling jello sounds so fun!
Speaking of alcohol, I had my meeting with the dean today about getting written up on Sungod. SO LAME. Well, I guess I should feel lucky that I didn’t get my housing revoked but still. I have to do 3 hours of community service and I’m on probation for the rest of the year… Same punishment as everyone else who got drunk on that day! And I didn’t even do anything! I was sleeping! in the safety of my room!
Anyways, have a lovely day!
