Avoid HD Buttercup
I didn’t hear these ads but supposedly a furniture company named H.D. Buttercup ran a bunch of radio ads the day of the game telling customers that if UCLA beat SC then they would refund any customers who bought more than $2000 worth of furniture from them. I hope a lot of customers went shopping that day!!
That’s what they get for betting against UCLA.
