Don’t cringe too hard, my dear. Those things are always staged, they do that every year on Valentines day.
The Paris Syndrome is VERY real, though. I actually know Japanese who have succumbed to it. Poor shattered expectations. I’m sure Miki has Roberto syndrome too.
