Paperbookswap
If you love reading books, you might be interested in this website that I just started using called Paperbookswap. To get started, you just upload books that you are willing to give away and in return you receive “credits” that allow you to get books back. I just uploaded some books and I already received a request for a book.
Sending books are pretty simple. They match you up with a person who wants one of your books, you go to the link to print a label. You end up printing out two sheets which have the address already on there and all you have to do is wrap the book up with the papers and tape it up. You can pay for the postage through the website for a fee or append your own postage to the outside (They tell you how much postage is needed for your particular book). It’s a pretty simple and painless process and a great way to get some new books to read!

somebody should invent a building thats filled with books that people could borrow and return. It would be free and they could put a few in each city……

Rise! What an absolutely delightful concept! HAHAHAHA!
GirlRobot, in your hyperlink and title you typed it out as paperBOOKswap when it appears that the name of the website is paperBACKswap.
That is a pretty cool concept, though. I am sure that there are plenty of books on there that cannot be found in the places that RISE speaks of.

man, this post is just full of errors! hehe. anyways, rise…the reason i prefer this over a library is sometimes it takes me a really long time to finish a book, and this way i never have to worry about when it’s time to return my book! :P
