In my opinion, this is a pretty solid sounding theory as to what is going on in Lost. The whole time I was reading I was like “oohhhhhh…now I get it!” Here is the link to the latest version of the theory. It’s a total fascinating read. It explains why there are polar bears on the island, why Richard never ages, why people see “ghosts”, and even why people get “healed” on the island. Oh and also why children are not born on the island. It answered so many questions for me!

According to the website, the theory has been 50% confirmed on the tv show:

Many key items that frame the TimeLoopTheory are now almost fully confirmed:
1. The island is in a magnetic “bubble” that allows it to be transported through time – Confirmed 100%
2. The smoke monster is the “physical” means of course correction – Confirmed 90%
3. Ben is (or is beinging guided by someone) from a future timeline – Confirmed 50%
4. The pressing of the button in the swan was resetting time on the island, keeping it in a loop – Confirmed 0%
