This is the first time I’ve heard of ‘Canadian’ being used as a racist code-word.
As far as American anti-Canadianism in general goes, I personally noticed an increase when Canada opted out of the Iraq invasion, so I guess the phenomenon described in the article could be a remnant of that. ie: Southern racists (who are also likely Republicans) hold a grudge:P

A) It leads to 2 ARRESTS, not deaths, my dear. And that happened back in January! Come come.
B) I completely misread your Canadians, thing, I thought you meant calling people Canadian itself is an insult (which, of course, it is). I was thinking “that’s not news, I’ve done that for years!”
C)Babies are flexible and resilient. Beer cans can dent and lose fluid very easily. It is a respectable, if not popular, choice.
D) Maybe its a duck that looks like a peanut, hmm? Ever think of that!
