Christmas time is coming up. I know it’s a bit early but if you are a geek like me then you will want to do your xmas shopping early to avoid the crowds or buy your gifts online now to avoid having to worry if they arrive in time. Plus, if you look now you have time to shop around for the best prices. With that in mind, here is the first in my series of Christmas Gift Guides. This one is specifically for geeky girls so if you are looking for a gift for your gf, friend, sister, or whatevers…take a look at these finds and tell me what you think. They will be ranked from least expensive to most expensive.

1. Anything From PixelGirlShop (>$5) – Wow this store is filled with uber cute stuff and great stocking stuffers. From lego-inspired jewelry to sushi pillows. I’m sure you’ll have no trouble finding something at this online indie shop. My faves: The robot towel and the robot lightswitch of course :)

2. Schtickers ($9.99-$19.99) – These are cool stickers you can put on your laptop or ipods that are removable and reusable!

3. Brugo Mug ($19.95)- These things are amazing. If you are like me then you hate getting your tongue burned. I always make boyrobot drink it first to see if it’s cool enough for me to drink. No more! This cup will adjust the temperature of your drink to a suitable temperature and even has different settings if you prefer to drink it scalding hot. The temperature control chamber which cools your drink is separate from the rest of your drink which is kept in the regular portion of the mug and will keep your drink nice and hot. Perfect gift for the female in your life who likes to drink hot coffee or teas. They come in an assortment of colors too!

4. Geek Tshirts ($15-$25) – I think the typical geek girl attire has to be the tshirt. There are a plethora of tshirt websites out there now. My favorites are:

5. Walkibits ($29) – This is a completely useless toy but oh so cute! The turtle crawls around your desk and can chirp back beats and even Leopold Mozart’s Toy Symphony.

6. Paul Frank Calculator Watch ($75) – This is a true geek accessory. They come in fun colors. If your gf is a true geek, she will want one of these. And what girl doesn’t like Paul Frank?

7. Mimobot Designer Flash Drives ($80-$170) – These are absolutely the cutest flash drives ever. My favorite are the love/hate ninjas. Every geek girl needs a cute flash drive.

8. DS Lite ($129.99) – This is probably one of my favorite tech gadgets that I own and they now come in pink! If you are looking for girl-friendly games to get try the Sims, Nintendogs, Brain Age, MarioKart, and Animal Crossing!

9. Ipod($79-$250) – If your gf doesn’t have an ipod yet….why not!!?? The new shuffle is so tiny and great if your gf works out.

10. Wii($250) – The ultimate geek girl’s xmas gift this year has to be the Wii. With all of the hype surrounding this gaming system I don’t need to convince you that this would be a great gift!

EMERGENCY GIFT – If you need a gift fast or looked and looked and can’t find the perfect gift, I suggest you resort to THE GIFT CARD. It’s not really that bad and if you need to pick a store I suggest Target. Every girl I know LOVES Target and you can always find something there to buy. And they have the cutest card designs!!
