Los Angeles Celebrates 225 Years

Even though it was last year in September that LA celebrated its 225th birthday, LA Inc has just now put up their website for this. There are two sections that are pretty cool: Special Offers and 225 Things To Do.
Their Special Offers section gives discounts and coupons for various things around LA from transportation to shopping. There’s tons of places that I shop, eat, or go to that I could use these discounts at including: Macy’s, Godiva, Amoeba, Lawry’s, Pomodoro, and more.
225 Things To Do has a great list of all of the cool and unique things to do in and around LA. They list all of the museums, famous shopping areas, etc.
Just when I think I know this city, I always find a new restaurant or shopping street. That is the great thing about LA, it has many hidden secrets!

wow, cool! as long as ive lived here, i still feel like i never fully experienced all that LA has to offer. this will definitely keep me busy :) i could definitely use a lot of those coupons, too!
