When I first saw the jellyfish aquarium that Spencer bought on The Hills, I was so jealous but I knew I could never afford an extravagance like that. Plus, I’m the laziest person and I would hate to have to clean the tank. I don’t know what it is about jellyfish, they are so mesmerizing! Anyways, I saw this new fad in Japan. Fake jellyfish aquariums. And they seem to look pretty real! This would be pretty cool to have in your house. Especially if it looks as real as the pics and video seem to depict it. Check it out here:
Holiday gift tags from angry chicken - not really crafty since all you have to do is print them out but they are so much cooler than store bought ones!

I’ve been reading about this cool gadget on a lot of tech websites so I thought I would post about it since it makes a great gift for anybody who talks on the phone a lot. The gadget is called a magicJack and it allows you to make unlimited local and long distance phone calls for $20 a year!
All you do is plug it into your USB port and plug any corded or cordless handset in and you’ve got yourself a phone! The actual magicJack costs $40 which includes service and after that it’s just $20 a year. This is also a great gadget for travelling!
It’s been getting great reviews. Here is a good quote that sums up this gadget:
It’s way easier to use than Skype, way cheaper than Vonage, and way cool to boot.
Beginning on August 23, 2005 - the half year anniversary of Tiny Showcase, we introduced a new pricing structure where a percentage of the money from each print sold is donated to a charity chosen by the artist. This raises the print price slightly, but now the artist, as well as their favorite charity, benefit from each piece sold.
If you check their gallery you’ll see a lot of beautiful artwork up, most of them sold out. I’ll definitely be picking up some pieces if/when I ever buy a house. It’s a great way to decorate and donate to a cause!
If you’re a gamer or know someone who is, then you/they are undoubtedly playing Halo 3 as I type. Halo 3 is the final version of the series that was released yesterday. I passed by a Gamestop and saw a line of people waiting to get their hands on the game hours before it was to be released at midnight even though they were guaranteed a copy because they preordered it. Not a minute wasted!
Anyways, if you’re looking for the perfect gift for your hardcore gamer friend….get them these super cool Halo USB drives made by Mimoco:
Cute gift alert!!! How cool would it be to make a mix tape on this cassette usb drive!!! Now you don’t need a tape player to play it, you can just plug it straight into your computer.
There are new Hello Kitty toys in the McDonald’s Happy Meal. The toys are different “kits” like a sticker kit, a school kit, a glamour kit, and various other items. I especially like the Hello Kitty lip gloss case. SO CUTE! I can’t find pictures but you can view all of them at the McDonald’s website.
I’ve been on a Hello Kitty kick. I came so close to buying this HK sewing machine. It got pretty good reviews and I’ve been looking for a small sewing machine that works! And this one is so cute!!!
Lastly, I’m on the brink of finally finishing the HP book. Is it just me or did parts of the book drag for you? The end is pretty exciting though. Too bad I’m at work, I’m dying to read the last few chapters!! Will finish tonight…
After reading this post, I realize how I’m such a kid still!!! Hahahah, oh well!
Perfect for summer, the seatless beach chair. How many times have I gone to the beach and wished I had something to lean back on? Nifty, light, and very portable. I like! I’m not too keen on the price though. $50?? It is a cool concept though.
I am loving these new Belkin laptop holders: Belkin PocketTop. Not only does it act as a lap cushion so you don’t burn your thighs but it also has a nice pocket to hold your charger in!
