Merchants aren’t allowed to have a minimum purchase for CCs – I had no idea! Also, they aren’t supposed to ask for your ID but in my opinion that’s a good thing when they do that.
Save gas by making fewer left turns – it worked for UPS allowing them to save 3 million gallons of gas

Wow, no minimum charges? I don’t think anyone anywhere knows that. But I wish they checked MORE IDs, maybe then they would have caught the jerk who stole Miki’s CC (and determined that the crackhead on Market street was, in fact, not a small Japanese woman).

Also….this is awesome: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071214/od_nm/luxury_dc;_ylt=Aq2NkVess0l5daFe7NmcRWqs0NUE

Don’t even get me started on the minimum purchase on credit cards! Ive known this for years and its always bugged me. One time i wanted to get a slice of pizza at this lame mom and pop pizza place. I was broke and had maybe $4.50 in my bank account. SO i order the slice and the fat lady at the register charged my debit card $5! I was like ummm its supposed to be $2, and shes like “no we have a 5 dollar minimum i can put more toppings on it if you want”. I’m like no and told her that its against the rules to set a minimum amount on credit cards! And she started yelling at me and then the cook came out and started yelling at me and it sucked and i shold have reported them because that pizza cost me $35 due to over draft charges!

argh!
