Friday Links

Photos of the earth’s last uncontacted tribes – “They were photographed from a plane which they may well have thought was a large bird”. NEAT!
Birth of a chicken in photos – this reminds me of the vietnamese delicacy of eating a nearly developed chicken embryo in the egg also known as balut. yeah i know….gross!!
A completely handwritten blog – yes, all of the entries, comments, and tags are handdrawn!
Clay Aiken is going to be a dad – When i first read the title, I thought wow…clay aiken isn’t gay! and then i read the article.
Harry Potter prequel on the way – yayy!
12 funniest fortune cookies ever – i’ve gotten a blank one before and other ones that i can’t seem to remember right now….

Ha! I thought the exact same thing when I saw that headline about Clay Aiken… I was like “No way!…… oh, nevermind.”

A) Is it me, or do the tribesmen appear to be oompa loompas of some kind? Is this the licorice forest or something? Are they naturally bright fucking orange?

B) Thank you for thoroughly ruining my appetite with your disgusting chicken holocaust. The fact that you Vietnamese eat these miscarriages is not helping your national standing in my book (it doesn’t help that the name of your most famous noodle dish sounds like the noise people make when hit in the stomach)

C) The title of the handwritten blog, “Tegaki e” means “handwritten picture” in Japanese. Please note this is not pronounced “Tekoki e” which means “pictures of handjobs.” I found that out the hardest way…….at Kibe Elementary School.

Now they have “Roberto’s Law” down there.

D) My first reaction to Clay Aiken having a baby was, who is Clay Aiken. This is also my second, third, and present reaction to this news.

After reading that, however, I have to say, why would you want to spend all that doctor money artificially inseminating when you could just do it the old fashion way. I mean sure he’s gay, but come on, you can pretend for 5 minutes, can’t you? Put a bag on her head.

E) You might want to look into that Harry Potter prequel a little closer. It’s written on a NOTECARD. Literally. A notecard.

F) Awesome fortunes. The best two fortunes I ever received were notable for the extreme polar opposite nature of their probability. One set the bar very very high (“You will live on the moon”) and the other as low as you can go (“you will have a new jacket”).

I’m 1 for 2 so far! Fingers crossed!

Nonsense, I would never have the energy to hunt these things down.

Only the energy to make fun of your choices. I always have enough energy for that.

We’re a team, Kimbot! Like peanut butter and jelly! Simon and Garfunkle! Piss and vinegar!

I’m vinegar.

Haha!!
Funny funny.

PS- Lil’ Kim I don’t think I will be able to watch TV by myself downstairs for the rest of my life. I am still freaking out over the racoon attack!

Are you sure it was a racoon? Are you sure it wasn’t Andy dressed in his Super Mario suit with the Racoon tail? Be honest now…

I have to rule out Andy as the racoon, since Andy was attempting to punch the beast from the inside of the window! Literally! The monster was thumping on on the outside of the glass and Andy was trying to uppercut the thing from the inside of the glass. I am surprised the glass held up. Seriously, you had to be there. Totally strange. Andy and Lil’ Kim were up and close, not phased at all. Minh and I were huddled together screaming- then laughing at Andy for trying to attack the thing through the glass. It was scary though- for me at least. Another reason why I need a dog. For protection and to chase off monsters.
